what year/make/model power steering pump will provide the best fit as far as hoses are concerned in a 68 chevelle? i have truck style accessories and i already have a smaller PS pulley that will clear the PS box. im hoping to route the lines cleanly and i need to know if my current threads on the hoses will fit the back of the PS pump.

They will not fit unless you swap out the fitting in the back of the truck pump with one from an older pump, like the one out of you're original pump.

Any truck pump from a gen III engine will work, 1999 to present. Just make sure it didn't come off of a truck with hydraboost because they have 2 return lines.

i have two return lines on my ps pump and i just blocked one of them.....seems to work fine.........im pretty sure it doesn't hurt anything.....

i might get one with hydroboost and block them off in case i ever want to use it later.
