Default Mustang guys with AJE crossmember....

I am wondering, does the AJE give you that much more room over stock? I need to know because I only have enough $$ left in the budget to get either the AJE crossmember or swap out the truck manifold, injectors, and water pump, just can't do both. I want to be able to run my stock hood. The car is a 2001 mustang v6 and I did a test fit with the 5.3 the other day and with the oil pan resting on the kmember, the intake and alternater will need probably 4-5 inches to clear the hood (just an eyeball guess).

Talked with AJE this morning, they said it was going to be a 3 week wait before the crossmember ships out. Is that about what you guys experienced?

Going to the Spring Carlisle swap meet April 23 and I'll see if I can maybe pick up a used one there.

Thanks, I will check w/ Jeg's.

Did you get your Mustang finished? Your car was one of the cars that made me want to do this swap!
