The oil pan will need to be swapped. also the a/c unit and alt should be removed for starters.

See the sticky at the top of the Conversions page..... This has been addressed time and again, particularly for the A and F body vehicles.

If you know what your doing and plan it out well. nothing really has to be phyically changed.. but it would be easier to considering the out come and problem you will encounter doing it that way.

Yes a f-body oil pan can fit.. but its a PITA and just easier to swap it for something else.

Some front accessories will fit without any problem.. but knowing how to do it will help. one way is to mount the engine a bit higher..

Area if you research to plan around.. Steering cross bar and front of the oil pan. F-body alternator, need to make sure you have clearance for the pulley and the steering box.

If you have factory AC, the Passenger Head and the firewall / AC box gets real close (or in my case inside the box, don't ask).

that should give you enough to research and plan..

let us know if you have any specific question.. cause we have already written all about it in the A-Body FAQ sticky...

good luck
