Default Factory 1350 U Joint Driveshafts

Looking for a driveshaft to work with my swap, have it shortened etc etc. Are there GM trucks that came in steel with factory 1350 u joints? Tried looking around on here, PT, google etc. Couldn't get a definitive answer. Thanks in advance for any help.

Why not have a driveshaft built to your spec using the u-joints you prefer? I do this all the time and never buy used driveshafts to have them shortened. If you are anywhere near a city of reasonable size there is a driveline shop that can make you a driveshaft to your spec for a reasonable fee. If you aren't, you probably won't be able to find a driveshaft to shorten anyway.

Even if your budget is tight, a driveshaft isn't the place to cut a few dollars.

Ford Super Duty's use a 1350 double cardon front and rear, the longer trucks use a two piece shaft in the rear. That's all I've got off the top of my head.

Totally agree with you 100% but unfortunately my budget is tight and I'm a welder. I'll have one made to handle 700+ HP but not for yard driving at this point

the 3500 work trucks and vans use a 1450. I used the yoke and tube ends and made my own. at the rear end pinion yoke I used an adapter joint 1450 to 1350

I thought they were 1350 but they might be 1410's. I know my 98 obs k2500 had 1350 u joint and a steel shaft.
