I've just jumped into this LS world with both feet and am causing a lot of debate in the process. I had an early demise to my first generation small block in my G-body. So I decided to replace it with an LS . Here's the debate that is surrounding my project. What power will this motor make. I've gotten an LY6 engine which is a 6.0 iron block motor with a 9.6 compression ratio. The motor has the L92 heads already but I'll be adding a cam speced out as 243/259 with .624 lift on both sides and 116 LSA. I willl be running a carb with about 12lbs of intercooled procharged air. I also have a methonal injection system. I am thinking of going with a 2" primary tube header into a true dual 3" exhaust. That is the bases for some heated debate between my friends and coworkers at my job. I'm hearing as low as 400s and someone is even thinking high 6s. So I figured the best people to come up with an accurate figure would be people in the LS world. So what do u guys think????
