Default 1990 notch swap throttle question

I have a 1990 notch with a 408 swap carb conversion.

My question/problem is that my throttle is not opening all the way. I am using an aftermarket cable and bracket. Using a stock pedal.

Any advice to help getting this thing to go full throttle?

I remember reading that the stock auto cable from the foxes worked fine. Not sure if thats the case for a carb setup though.

I believe so. When the pedal is to the floor the front butterflies are open not quite all the way and the rear are barely open
