LS1 intake, EGR plug and PCV port
The LS1 intake I'm using on myb swap does not have the EGR elimination plug on top, behind the TB. anyone know a part number or what model/years they were used on so I can get one from the dealer?
It also does not have the PCV port the leads to the TB, in front of the blade. Is there another way to route the PCV or should I just drill/tap it and add a fitting?

I have one.. the GM Part number is #12558346, it is used to remove the EGR on the early LS1 intakes and plug the port on the intake. Under $20.
If you ever read the GM LS1 Conversion Guide, I has it listed.
If it is a LS1 TB, it should have the PCV that leads into the Manifold just behind the TB and the fresh air port is in the TB.

There is this as well, http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...K%3AMEWNX%3AIT . Has a dorman part no, so it's probably about $0.45 if you can find it elsewhere.
$20 for a plug is nonsense.

Looks like a block plug. And I dont see what would keep it from falling into the manifold

Here's pics of the GM EGR plug, part #12558346
A 1 3/8" freeze plug will also work, I'd recommend a little RTV on it when tapping it in place. I bought a used LS1 intake and it had one of the rubber expandable type freeze plugs in it, not very pleasing to the eyes but still very functional.
