Default 86 Grand National Engine Mount Swap Question
Are the Grand National 3.8 mounts on the cross member side the same as a conventional sbc? I am about to pull the engine tomorrow and am just trying to price out this project in my mind.

I found one that works. BRP makes an engine mount kit so this swap is my next project.

The buick and sbc mounts are different. Your frame should be drilled for the sbc mounts as well. So you can pick up motor mounts for a monte carlo and use the adapter plates to save some money.

I'm not too worried because I know I can get them from BRP for $280 as a direct fit with no hassles.
