Default motor swap options

I have a 98 Firebird with the stock 3.8l V6 in it with the 4L60E automatic transmission. I have the chance to buy a GM 350, 4 bolt main with a 700R4 trans still on it. Is it possible to pull the V6 out of my car (it is ceased by the way) and drop in the 350. I have very limited knowledge on swaps and need all the help I can get. The other option for me is to buy a 1998 Regal (FWD) with the 3800II supercharged V6 and use the parts off that to repair my current V6. Which is smarter and more cost effective? Both options are the same price to start.

It would prolly be best to just fix the car. And then just save up for one with a ls1 if you are wanting v8 firebird. If you buy the 350 then you are prolly going to have to buy the harness and all of that crap and your shocks and brakes would prolly have to be up graded due to weight and power deference. But that's just me man. It's totally up to you. It's always more fun if you do swaps and rebuilds.
