2010 LS3 and TR6060 in a 68 Camaro

It's damn close to done and actually runs now. It's licensed, insured and passed emissions beautifully.
Glass going in:
Exhaust installed (Stainlessworks 3in)
Here's a quick video of it. It's loud and it's quick. Click on the pic to start the video
I have the instrument cluster at redline gauge works having the speedo converted to electronic so I can get rid of the Cable-X

I haven't torn down this transmission, I have no knowledge to offer on the oil pump that a google search wouldn't provide .

If I had to do it all over I would buy nothing from S&P.

I love the chambered exhaust. These are actually custom length mufflers i had stainless works make up, so YMMV. At idle, they're quiet, during cruise, you can have a conversation without yelling. When you lay into the throttle it's as loud as a prepped nascar. There is no drone at all on the inside, I'm really really happy with them. I wish I could have tucked the pipes up higher, but that stupid S&P crossmember got in the way. It's really a poorly thought out part.

Moondoggy.....I have installed the same motor in my '36 coupe. I'm at a standstill right now about an outlet on the passenger side head.
In the picture below (passenger side) you can see there are two small outlets for coolant. One snakes over to the driver's side head.
The clear tube you see is a temporary measure to prevent coolant from flowing on to the floor. I've heard various ideas about what to do with this inlet....everything from block it off, run it to the upper rad hose, run it to a fitting in the rad and run it to a lower throttle body fitting.
Does your LS have this same fitting. If so, how did you handle it?

If you don't have provisions on your radiator for that or you don't want to do it, you can tap it into your water pump. I think this one looks nice.

Hi, I've been following your build. I wanted to know what you did with your cooler. One of the fittings is on the left side and the plate for the motor mount sits right on it. Any help is appreciated. Thanks and good work

Fits like a champ under the conversion plate. IIRC you need a 17mm hex to install it. Use pipe dope, not teflon tape when installing it.

Im about to try mounting one of these 6060 transmissions to my 69 Camaro.
My box came out of a Holden HSV Commodore ( think PontiacG8 on steroids).
I'm really interested in the transmission tunnel fitting without cutting the top out of it, you seem to gave cut only a hole for the shifter, but I see there is a couple of small holes, were these necessary ?? Or just holes cut for a previous shifter.
Im using a small block not an LS Motor.
Any other tips ???
