Love the machined tank!! Awesome work on the mill! Did you write the program? I only wish we had a CNC mill where I work. I have 5 CNC swiss lathes I program, setup, tool and run but no mill, damn it!!! Keep up the great work and I look forward to seeing this become a reality soon. Best of luck on your new job.

WEAK!!! Hahaha, joking dude, it looks sick as hell! Btw, this is Brandon (Jessie's friend with the Vette). Don't know how I stumbled across this, but I'm definitely subscribing to the thread! As for the injectors...I'm currently running 48lb injectors and putting down ~525 to the wheels. They are pretty much maxed out, and I'll be upgrading soon. But with your goals and running e85, 80-85lbs should be good.
So no longer working in the glorious town of Moberly? I may need some of your machining skills when I tackle my LSx swap in my Dakota, hahaha.

No, actually I will be turning in my notice within an hour or two or writing this post. My hopes are that they get pissed and just send me home, but Im giving them a weeks notice. You've worked in Moberly and have seen it for yourself. I'll just leave it at that
Well I cant garauntee that I'll have access to any machines when you tackle that build but I can try to be of help to you lol. I wanna see this vette sometime.. and maybe then we can have an intelligent conversation while im not liqoured up and dressed like Abe Lincoln HAHA

I live in StL but spend my summers at LOTO. I would love to stop by and see your build when you get it on the water. I was thinking about doing a similar jet boat build myself until the 72 442 fell in my lap about this time last year.
Question on turbos for boats. Is there an advantage using a single T76 vs twin "ricer" size turbos for modest (under 10psi) boost levels?
Also, guessing these are the same headers?

I actually had a GTO oil pan that I sold a while back. Any thoughts on using the front sump TBSS pan? I can get one of those cheap and the profile looks like it might make an even better marine sump.

Wow back from the dead. I haven't updated this in a long time. Here's some of the slow but steady progress made over the winter.
Made a custom pulley set up to run the alt. in the back off the driveline.
Got the engine mounted and plumbed for the most part.
Started wiring the engine.
Started puting the interior together
Some cool pics of the boat next to ZMG00CAMAROSS
Also got the cam and valvetrain installed.
Slow but steadily the boat is coming together. A few minor things to finish and it'll be on the water. I need to get the ecu flashed and was wanting to have Frost do it but I get no response to my emails.... so what other tuners have you guys had experience with????

I should also mention that funding is keeping this build NA for the first half of the summer. I've become a little torn on what will be supplying the boost though. I'm sure somebody might wanna slap me but ive been lookin into a whipple haha. I think I'd get more power out of a turbo setup. Haven't done much research. Opinions welcome lol.

Some progress to update. Got a little farther with interior and pretty much have the fuel system put together. I got my fuseblock kit from current performance and have the harness pretty much wrapped up. Just need a MAF and a tune and I should be able to get it on the water.
I know the A1000 is a little over kill but atleast I'll never have to worry about fuel lol.
