I am planning on replacing my 1950 3100 dash with an '01 or newer silverado dash and interior, has anyone done this or know any details? I plan on buying a wrecked newer truck and gutting everything. ill basically have a newer model truck with a 1950 shell... i know i will have to modify the dash to make it fit since the '50 is narrower than new silverados. i plan on buying donor truck with a 5.3/4l60e and 10 bolt rearend if possible. i want to later upgrade to 6.0 engine. if i get whole donor truck i will have all the wiring needed and basically all parts for swap. any ideas or pics?
