Default Carb'd 6.0 MPG in a 72 Chevelle
Sorry with another MPG question. Ive been considering going the carb route with a 6.0. What kind of gas mileage are you guys getting with a carb vs an efi setup? Does anyone have any actual numbers?

I will be running a 6.0 with a decent cam, 6 speed manual and 4.10s in the rear if the MPG is reasonable. My goal for this build is great mpg and decent power.

16-18 on the highway with 3.73 and O.D.

EFI - 71 Chevelle with a stock LS1 w/headers and LS6 intake only), rear is 4.10's, T56 (0.50 6th).. 26 mpg on the highway..

Stock lq4, .600 lift cam,3200 stall, 3.55 gears 71 chevelle 4l80e. 16mpg w/ combo hwy/city/hotroding.... 18mpg hwy only...
