Truck motor alt relocator kit

Truck motor alt relocator kit
Have a 5.3 truck motor going in a foxbody
Have the car manifold, stock fuel rail. DBW throttle body.
I'm still using the truck water pump just modified the water neck to exit like an f body so it comes out the front rather than the top. I'm also keeping the truck power steering and not running ac for the time being.
But the alt sits too high, need it dropped down. I really like the dirty dingo kit but only have about 200 to spend. Anyone have any ideas?

On the speedway motor kit is there a way to retain the power steering pump?
Like can I take the factory alt/ps mount and cut it in half and only use the bottom section to keep the power steering?
Or will I have to buy a ps relocation bracket too if I wanna run the speedway kit?

You could try lopping off the top of the PS/Alt mount and make something like I did for my alternator mount.

I searched "LS1 bracket" on speedway, and I get this high mount alternator bracket deal. What does it look like installed? Is it intended to be used with PS also or ??
and on that Motivative deal, where does the belt go on the other side of the waterpump? Is it just looping down around the crank or going to pick up a power steering pump?

here is what i did , i used the same alt bracket from my old ls1/ls6 and drilled and tapped the hole needed to mount it, this lets you use two of the 3 mounting holes, then i went on ebay and bought the stock rear bracket that mounts on the rear of the alt and connects it to the block making it even stronger. if you watch this video here , part way threw i show what i did. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=onuPyd-OGCA from the junk yard these parts should be dirt cheap.

no pix as of right now, took the upper neck out and used a freeze plug to seal it, then had a machine show drill out the front of the pump and had a hydrolic 1 1/4" sleeve/fitting tapped in to make it look like the 98-02 f body water pump.

decided i wasnt happy with the look of the previous water pump, so I went with the dirty dingo spacers and pulley relocation kit with f body water pump. might as well do it right the first time.
