Default cam/stall for street duty

I've got an ls1 s10 street truck I drive a couple days a week. Last week I hit a cinder block on the interstate and tore it to hell. Driver side header and mid pipe will have to be replaced along with tranny pan and drive shaft.
I figure if its got to come apart it should go back with more power. I would like to get a proven cam with a noticeable idle that's street friendly and an appropriate stall to go with it. It doesn't see track duty and I would prefer not to make major valvetrain changes. Any advice is appreciated this is my 1st ls engine.

Aod
Ls1
Spectre intake
Shorty headers
2 1/4 exhaust flowmaster 2 chambers, no cats.
Chassis tune after mods

Thanks
