Default stock tbi lines

helloi got a c1500 with a 5.3 swap and got a question i was wondering if it was possible to cut my existing stock tbi braided lines and add some ans fittings to some quick connectors to my 5.3 dual set up if so what fittings do i need
(i mean cut the braided line part not the solid tube)

I can't say for sure, but I'm going to assume that the stock lines are just rubber or nylon flex hose with a braided sheathing. I'm sure there is a way to add a fitting to them. The stock lines may not be rated high enough to supply 58psi though. TBI systems don't need much fuel pressure.

why cut braided ?

just get adaptors or flare new ends on the hard line section . a lot easyer and still safe. just done single hose clamp on a non barb/flared/bubbled hard line or it will pop off ( search threads otherguy just had this happen with BAD results )

and AN is nice stuff but whay is everyone spending the cash on these parts for basic motor swaps and not coming close to the need requirment of an stuff. stock lines work fine on these if adapted and coupled correctly.
