Default Low idle and stalling issue

The car: 98 camaro v6 to LS1 swap

Up til now I have been having trouble getting the car started under her own power without jumpering relays, etc. Finally worked it out that she starts and stops when I tell her to but now she won't seem to charge via alternator and idles well below 1k. when I hit the throttle she dies instantly. Until now I was able to take her all the way to WOT with no hiccup. I have 40psi on the regulator and on the fuel rail via mechanical gauges. Oil pressure is good. Just replaced the TPS, IAC, MAF and almost every other sensor just to start off fresh. The really weird part is that even though she'll still die when I disconnect the MAF, the idle clears up a lot. defective?

any advice appreciated. Seriously. This swap should not be this hard...

Fuel pressure should be somewhere around 58psi. 40 is too low. Could easily be your problem.

Everywhere I read said about 40... whats interesting is that it ran it before around 45. I will bump it up and try it. thanks!

LS fuel pressure needs to be around 58. 40 is more typical of an LT1.

Definitely squared away the acceleration! thank you so much! Turned out I also have a bad alternator and possibly MAF... replaced all three and it idles and accelerates, still no comm to the trans tho...
