Default 5.3L truck intake

Hello, new guy here so I'm probably in the wrong spot but here goes. I know a 5.3 L truck engine will fit nicely into my 67 camaro with a different / modified oil pan and a little re-arrangement of the accessories. My question is: will the stock truck intake manifold fit under the hood? I do have an after-market L-88 style hood that should provide an additional 2 inches of clearance. It's time in the build to buy an engine and obviously the 5.3 is cheaper than a LS1 / LS2 engine. Just trying to decide what engine to go with.

Thanks for any advice.

Perfect place ask.
Tough to say if the intake will fit. But you can always swap it for an LS1 intake. The other issue that might come up is the truck alternator position. It's pretty high too. I've got a 5.3 in my 72 442 with an LS1 intake. If you need measurement, I'm sure someone can provide.
