Hey all, I have a stock lq4 and a new 4l60e trans for my 86 firebird sitting in my shop. I think I'm just gonna slap it together and flip it (lost interest). My question is what would be the cheapest way to go about it? I have a ls1 intake sitting on it now. Also good place to buy a stand alone harness. I also thought about trading the 4l60e trans for a turbo 400 so I don't have to buy a 800.00 trans controller. The bird is gutted so I was going to use aftermarket guages. I don't care about climate controls because it's probably going to be somebodys race car. What do you think?

If its keeping EFI, you don't need a trans controller. The ECM does that.
