Default What finish

What finish did you go with on the pillar? 20-30% gloss? Is it textured? How close does it match the dash pad?

What did you use for sealing the windshield? Old school ribbon seal or polyurethane?

thanks,
Jim

Not sure on the gloss but it matches the dash pretty close. The pillar is already some what textured from the factory but I didn't add any. On the windshield my buddy is a glass guy and he just used regular buytl not the rope.

Might finally be ready to pull the trigger on a wiring harness. Probably going with bp automotive premium harness. Any comments on it?

Here's some shots of the lower radiator hose. Had to trim it some on both ends but it finally came out right.

ordered some sending units for my gauges and bought a 2000 TA MAF from a member on here. Worked on the trans cooler lines yesterday and almost got em finished. Built the return line for the PS pump just need to figure out the press line now. Also installed some plugs in the O2 sensor holes in the manifolds.

Got the power steering pressure line done today. I took the factory pressure lines from the ls1 and the 75 original and made 1 out of em.

Also got the sending unit stuff in. Temp sender is ready and the oil sender will be placed in the block off near the filter. I used all equus gauges and senders and adapter fittings. Way cheaper than auto meter and still quality pieces.

Egr delete plate installed too.

Change of plans for the oil pressure sending unit. After talking to the guys at PSI conversions they told me that their harness doesn't have any wiring for the factory sending unit unless you are running an f body cluster (I'm not) so I moved my sending unit to that location behind the intake.

Just ordered my harness from PSI conversions. Saved $60 using black friday code. Also ordered their fan wiring kit and TCC lock up kit.

Do you have any ideas on where you are gonna mount the EMC? Running Vintage Air?

I always heard good things about VA. Try a SEARCH about Classic Air. I've seen some bad experiences with them.

IIRC.... my bros VA was ~ $1300 shipped. I think he is gonna change the stock VA hose routing to use a billet inline bulkhead. On the stock VA setup, if you ever have a problem with a hose, you have to remove the pass fender to R&R it.

well we got the starter wired up and tried to turn the engine over just to hear it move and nothing happened. Checked wiring to starter from batt and ignition switch, all check good so I guess now I'm looking for a starter. WTF
