Nice job on the tank..you know you will need to cut the trunk to make the tank fit?
You will like the factory f body pump setup..quiet, reliable, no fuel starvation issues with mine..even down to 1/8 tank!

RUS-644120 push on EFI fitting 2 14.97
SUM-220641 coupler 1 5.97
SUM-220690 hose ends 2 4.97
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
54.82 (+tax)
you will also need -6AN braided line. I already had this because I ran line from the fuel rails all the way back to the tank. The parts list above is just to build the jumper hose for the fuel pump.
Hope this helps

Nice build man, Im working on a 81 firebird, ls1/t56 combo but i went carbureted. I have a used pcm, ls2 intake with fuel rails and ls1 injectors and ls1 tb, contemplating buying adapters for them and a used stock harness and rework it to teach myself how to make a stand alone.

M6 Swap pm'ed me...
My basic reply was I am using a Harley davidson motorcycle charcoal canister filter connected to the vent from the 4th gen pump bucket. Works good...there are more expensive options out there. I haven't smelled gas in my garage since. I did do it just last summer, so it may be too soon.

Got the fuel pump wired up. As someone stated before I might have 2 cut the trunk in order for the pump to fit. I'm going to try and use some wood spacers to get it 2 clear only issue I can see with that is the tank straps might not be long enough. Will see tomorrow.

ended up cutting the trunk to make the pump fit. Got the lines all connected and cycled the key to bring up the pressure at the rail. Gauge ran up to 40 psi at the rail and before I started it I checked all the lines and connections for leaks..............found 1. Leaking on the feed side of the fuel filter. Looks like the fitting so I'm going to swap it out today and retest. Hopefully I can fire it up tonight.

You just have to paste in the "https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kikbirVVULc" and remove the "s" from https. It will then embed it.
Sounds nice!!!!!!

Thanks! Now I'm going to focus on getting the rear end built and installed. I found a Posi + gear set + bearing kit for $525. It's Yukon posi and Richmond gear set. It's the best price I've found. Then it's just putting it together or having it built, not sure yet.
