I'm working on a swap now for my '77 camaro. Will be following your build for ideas!

Haven't posted any updates in a while. Lets see, had the rear bumper painted to match the car and got it installed. Just need the rubber bumper impact strip now.

looks great, man. Thanks a ton for the help with the hoses. What did you do for a throttle cable? I took the one out of the 98 Z28 that I parted out, but haven't tried it yet.

M6Swap,
Car looks real nice. Should be a blast with the new engine. What brand fenders and hood? Fit and finish? height on cowl ?

thanks,
Jim

Thanks! I bought all 3 pieces from a local shop, Southwest Classics (Arlington TX) but the drivers side fender was way off! They had to order one from another vendor out of California, I think the new fender was from Dynacorn? Not sure on the other fender (passenger) and hood. I will call them and find out who the manufacturer is on those pieces. As far as fitment goes it all fits good, did have to shim the passenger side fender up a little bit in one spot but for repops, I am surprised how well they fit. Hood is a 2" cowl. I didn't realize how much lighter the LS is compared to the old 350 until I put the front end back on the car and see how high it sits. Hopefully the bumper and brackets will bring it down.

Just picked up a set of 2010 camaro ss manifolds and cats. Look like they might fit better than the 99 manifolds that are currently on there. Will post pics later.

Got the 2010 manifolds and cats installed, fitment is better than the others I think, after the cats are cut out of the down pipes I think it will be perfect. will post pics later, has anyone else used these manifolds?
