Thanks still trying to figure this out. Been taking my new lines to places and they just look at me stupid when I say splice.

Sorry it's taken all week, to much sh..tuff going on at work and issues with both computers. I went to o'reilly's first, but the damn ends were the metric ones like you were finding. I then went to a hydraulic hose maker in town and they fixed me up with the splice. These are the best I have.

Well after weeks of searching without luck I finally got a high pressure hose for the bel air. Actually found a couple of guys that have a mobile hose company. They came to my house tonight and looked at my car and what I had and built me a hose in my driveway that fits great. Super stoked to try and button the steering up this weekend and try it out.

Little trick I used to get the water neck out of the water pump so I could rotate it some to clear my intake. I stuck the handle of a screw driver inside to keep from distorting it and tapped it out with a dead blow hammer.

Also loaded the ol girl up and moved her over to our bigger shop to button up a few things. First time back on the trailer in over a year.

Picture of when I bought it. Not a lot of visual changes but defiantly a new beast under that skin.

Still pecking away and getting really close to its first drive test. Got the brakes finished up and radiator hoses ran.

It's working now. Good stuff man! I know that's a thrilling day when you get to actually test drive the project.

I went with the 40 series Flowmasters and turned them down just before the rear end.

Nothing really cleaned up at this point was just really anxious to get it on the road and to its first show this weekend which is an LS event being held at the Atlanta area Summit.

Through in an old set of Hurst lighting shifters we had laying around.
