i will run this open dump like this but have an electric gate valve that i can force the exhaust out the back through a muffler to quiet it down

working on the suspension...
even with the 5.3 and trans in there the suspension was at full up! so that old big block must of weighed a lot! decided to cut the springs out so i can make the bag brackets

and the truck intake wont fit either




may try this... but still probably wont fit


gonna borrow this from my buddy too


but im thinking LS1 intake and modified truck accessories is what i will do in the end

I'm so happy to see progress with this! I was Continental shopping at one time and ended up with a '64 T-bird to do the same thing. Ended up flipping it after I lost my job to pay for my Cutlass.

been awhile but ive moved to a bigger shop and working on finishing up the swap. was running the engine harness last night. was gonna short cut it with running it to inside the fenderwell but thought throught the firewall would be better. here is some pics.

they look cool with no radiator but that's not possible. going to lay them outward and push them as far back as possible.
