LS with 5.0 QA1 tubular K?
Hi all,
I just picked up an '87 Notch LX with intentions of doing a 4.8 or 5.3 turbo / T56 combo. The previous owner installed a brand new QA1 SBF k member in it. I've that read some people get away with heavily modifying the stock k members for LSx/4.6 swaps. Im hoping it will be a bit easier to do with a tubular k. Clearly the pitch and placement is different than the 4.6, i know that's the issue. But is there a solution to use the K that i have, or should i plan on taking a loss and finding a 4.6 K for it? Cutting and welding isnt an issue.
Thats all ive got for now, but im sure ill have more ?'s!
Thanks!
