Default Oil pressure sending unit for LS7 in an Lt1 Camaro

I am swapping a LS7 into my 1996 Lt1 Camaro using a 1998 Camaro harness converted to 1999+ computer. I have a LS7 oil pressure sending unit but I now realize the 1998 sensor is different. I think the best thing will be to use the 1998 sending unit, however it looks like I need a m16x1.5 to 1/4-18 ntp adapter to make it work. I wasn't able to find one listed anywhere.

Does anyone know of one of these adapters? Will the LS7 sending unit work if I get the pig tail, or are they not compatible that way.

Thanks

Use the sending unit that came with the car with an adapter. You can get the adapter through Summit or any good gauge company such as Autometer, speedhut,Stewart Warner Etc.

Maybe my plug has been changed from 1998. Anyone know if this is a 1998 connector plug?

What oil pressure gauge are you trying to use? The 98 engine harness has the plug in it, but it doesn't go to the PCM. You need to use the sender that goes with your gauge.
