Default 6L80E tailshaft

using a 6L80E transmission
from an 09 pontiac G8 GT in my build
looking for information on replacing the
tailpiece with a standard yoke/u-joint
arrangement.
anyone done this and do you have pictures

I'm not sure what tailshaft the g8 has but I have the one out of a 5th gen camaro thats very short. I just used a turbo 400 yoke that I had machined out on the inside. I can take pictures of it tomorrow if you like.

The G8 will have the donut type with 3 bolt flat flange I think. Its the same car as our VE Commodore.

Sorry about the blurry pictures. I still have an old flip phone that takes terrible pics. You might be able to see theres a step inside the yoke. I used the 3 flange 'donut' yoke and just machined the inside to match.
