Fuel issues
I have a 1982 K5 Blazer. I just did LS1 swap. Everything is hooked up. I have 60 to 65 psi to intake. But won't run on its own. I sprayed a little Quickstart and it started. Not sure what the problem could be? Any help would be appreciated

If you don't have any injector pulse, check to make sure your grounds are all hooked up, and clean and tight. Also make sure the crank sensor is plugged in, it's easy to miss since it's behind the starter and you can't easily see it. If you do have injector pulse, then most likely your injectors are stuck. This is super common these days with the crap fuel we have. If the engine has been sitting a while, I'd put my money on stuck injectors.

I 2nd this. That is exactly what mine did when I first tried to fire it after I hooked everything up. It thinks you're trying to steal the car because you aren't getting a signal from the BCM.
You need to go into the tune of the computer (hptuners, etc) and turn off the VATS.

The ECM was programmed when we bought it from the shop. They said it was programmed for our application. I have a curious question what PSI injectors am I supposed to use for this conversion? I am running 60 psi injectors, what should my fuel pump pressure be running at?

I would start with a base pressure at the rail of 58psi, as that's factory I think.

If it is the vats how can I test for it? The noid tester is showing power to the injectors? And if I spray Quickstart it will run? Doesn't vats stop either the fuel or fire to the spark plugs?

I run my fuel pressure at around 60psi. Double check your grounds like others said, this can cause weird issues, I left one loose one time. I would call the people that tuned it for you and make sure you are both on the same page. Maybe they forgot to turn vats off like others have said.

Thanks guys I took the ECM back to the shop they double checked and the vats was not deleted or deactivated. They reprogrammed and tested it. I installed it started right up. Thanks again guys for all your help.
