Default Anyone install an L99 2010-13 camaro radiator into a first gen camaro/firebird

Just wondering if anyone has attempted to install an L99 camaro radiator into a 1st gen camaro/firebird. I just dropped a 2013 L96 6.0, with a TSP VVT-4 cam, PSI Conversions stand alone harness, BRP mounts and Hedman Headers. Can't decide on what radiator to use. The L99 radiators are not that expensive compared to some aftermarket ones, and it's a GM product! I figure I would have to fabricate some kind of lower radiator support bracket. Any ideas?

Why chinch out now? Get a alum swap radiator. Heck, even SUMMITRACING has a house brand one.

I figured since I am running a 6l90e transmission with the factory transmission cooler lines already installed, the L99 radiator would be a more direct hookup with the exception of the brackets. But I am not sure since I haven't come across any threads for this swap.

Although I have a BeCool rad, the stock 98 fans were mounted to the rad using aluminum L-shaped channel.
You may be able to make out the L channel as it is riveted to, and runs along the top of the black fan support. The back of the L channel is riveted to the top of the rad.
You could do something similar from underneath, using a wider channel to attach the rad to the front car frame.

Not a bad idea. I will have to get dimensions on the L99 radiator and check to see how much room it will take up on the radiator support.
