Question Fast 102 on a 5.3?

I posted this in the Gen IV external engine section, but it seems there are alot of people in here who have modded 5.3's and may have som insight.

Has anyone run a Fast 102 intake on a 5.3? I have the chance to pick one up locally and wonder if I would be gaining or losing over the LS2 intake on my setup. Combo listed below.

2007 LH6 5.3L 243 heads stage 2.5 porting by PRC, chambers milled to 58cc. Pat G spec EPS 222/224 .604/.604 on 112+1. 1 3/4" lontubes into 2.5" duals with x-pipe, Yank SS3600 converter. Ported and Polished truck DBW 87mm TB.

The real appeal is the price, it's local and I can use my LS2 fuel rail and injectors.

I had the lsxrt on my 5.3 silverado. To me it ran harder cam only with a stock intake, than it did with ported 799 heads and the 102. Truck was heavy and I'm sure torque down low suffered. If it had a looser converter it may have been different.

Those LSXRTs have HUGE plenums. Not a.real good.comparison with a regular 102. I would say that the truck 102 was a bit of a fail.
