Default Harness & Gauge question

Sorry if this has been asked before but I could not find what I was after in a search

I am making my own harness with help from the forum and lt1swap

What I can't figure out is how to incorporate my aftermarket gauges
Speedo, tach, alt, temps & pressure

do these come out of the pcm or do I need extra senders for all

Any help would be appreciated

What vehicle and gauges? What type of PCM are you using?

Speedo will run off PCM as long you have the VSS on the trans hooked up. Tach runs off the PCM as well. Temp and oil pressure need sending units. Voltage gauge simply hooks up to switched ignition.

Thanks for the help

Does the pcm need an oil pressure sender or can I use it for the gauge? I know I can add the second sender to the other head for the temp

The PCM does not need to know the oil pressure. The oil sending unit on the harness goes directly to an idiot light or a gauge in the dash depending on model with that PCM.
