Hey guys just signed up. Looking for some help with the fuel system for my 5.3. I have a 5.3 with an Ls6 intake on it. It will be going in my 67 C10 short bed fleetside truck. Can somebody direct me to the right thread?

I'm a noob too with out much insight for you. I'm researching the fuel system for my 65 impala 6.0 swap coming up. Search for corvette filter. Lots of people run them because they regulate and return fuel. A sumped or baffeled tank is a good idea too. Or a in tank pump with a cup or tray of fuel. Tanks inc makes a neat retro fit pump. Your truck might be a slam dunk to install a 87ish or newer truck tank. Gets the stinky tank outta the cab and under the frame plus it's got an efi pump and basket. Just needs a higher pressure pump for the Ls engine.

Welcome to both guys.

LOWSLUNG67,
You are better off asking specific questions. Even better, try using the SEARCH function thats in the red header at the top of the page. It is centered on the page. When I first started here, it took me a little while to find it. Stop laughing. lol.

This community is VERY knowledgeable and always willing to help.

Enjoy!!!

It will also help if you ask a more specific question. What is it you need to know? How to run the lines, what tank to use, what filter or regulator to use, etc? I've done several of these trucks, both with and without the original tanks, and each has it's pros and cons. There are two build threads in my sig that have pics on how they were done, although they are both stock tank trucks, I did another truck and used a blazer tank, but don't have a build thread on that one.
