looking like your getting somewhere! I would set your tranny crossmember up see what other problems you come up with. Headers on g bodys with stock tranny crossmember always have some problem clearing.

I got the tranny mounted, installed the cross member, I had to set the cross member back an inch so I only got one bolt in per side. I'll have to fab up/extend the cross member mount on the frame so I can get all four bolts in!
The cross member is the jegster double hump for a 700r4 its a solid cross member but the slot for the transbolt had to be opened up a little, I guess the bolt is bigger on the 4l60e and the humps for the exhaust to pass under are inset a lot.
Got my grand national tank and sending unit in over the weekend so that's next up...

I haven't installed the tank yet, I'll let you know how it works out when I do...should be by this weekend. I'm using the column shifter and as of now it work but rubs the top of the longtubes when put into low gear, but I have some modding to do on that header anyway...

Well I was sick for the last 7 days but finally got back in the garage working on th car. I ended up buying the muscle car pan kit, the f body pan was just way to close for my liking. Maybe next year if I go back to a 3 speed trans I'll modify the f body pan and use it to regain the ground clearance it offers. So I changed out the pan and also did the front and rear main seals.
Changed pan and mains hoisted up...
Front
Rear
Pic of my son helping out...
Motor back in after pan and mains changed, painted the front cover it looked a little crusty..

Lol, he's the reason I can't go turbo, he can eat a mountain of food! I think in baby language he was saying, "as soon as I let off the transbrake I swear the car went straight up like this."

Still chipping away at it, got the trans filter and pan gasket changed.
Got the GN fuel tank and sending unit in, cut a square hole out of trunk floor so the next fuel pump won't require me dropping the tank. I'm going to finish it with a trap door and carpet over. Also got the corvette filter/regulator Installed an the -6 line to the fuel rails.

Pic of underside, you can see how the f body driver side longtubes kicks out, not 100% on what I want to do with that yet, options are #1 route piping back to hump, #2 cut and weld the header to straighten it up a bit or #3 heat and bend (which would be my favorite option, just haven't ever done that before). I have a buddy who's a fabricator and welder I'll probably have him make the decision and do the job.
Also had to extend the mounts on frame for the trans cross member, not proud of this but it'll work for sure. I'll use a piece of angle mount across the face and top so it is flush with the rest of the factory mount and paint it so it doesn't look so trashy. I had to heat up the factory mount location and hammer the steel rectube extremely tight fit.
