Update and photos
As I stated before, I made a mess of the wiring harness, essentially taking apart each circuit and extending it to run the ECM into the cab of the truck. I became friends with a really talented tuner in my area who has done a few swaps similar to this and he has been a fountain of knowledge and advice (also a great source of parts haha). I used the Metaltek Mfg. sliding mounts, the Hughes hammer in torque converter adapter, LS3 exhaust manifolds (I'm assuming from a Camaro) and wiring/parts info from lt1swap.com and did all of the work myself and I'll tell you this much, it was insanely easy. I'm hoping to fire it up today.

Haha hell no I didn't do that, in fact I'm online searching for a new box now. The previous owner did that... along with a number of other shady "fixes".

that would be LMC, but Brothers truck parts probably has it as well. Been a ton of chevy trucks sitting wasting away. You would think you could throw a rock hit one in neighborhood.
