L99 Water pump on my 5.3 swap cooling issues I recently put an L99 LS3 water pump from a 2010 Camaro on my 04 5.3 Mustang swap project. Its a GM pump and came with a thermostat, I noticed when I pulled it apart that it was different from the truck thermostat that I had so I used the L99 thermostat. Now the car doesn't seem to want to stay cool at all. Coolant temps are around 198* and the fan is constantly on. I have bled and purged the coolant system multiple times, anyone have any suggestions??

The L99 T stat is opening around 195 where my 5.3 T stat was opening around 182. I found a Stant part # for a 180 T stat that Advance carries, I'll pick it up tomorrow and see how it does.
