Default MSD box problems

I have an 88 cutlass supreme that I just did a LS swop last yr from a 406. I am changing transmission to over drive and the car as been setting for e months, I tried to start the car with no trans mohnted and no fire. Have changed crank sensory and cam and no fire or rmp data. And suggestions.

Is there an interlock or signal required from the trans to allow engine start? Maybe, a "trans is in park" switch that's not hooked up since trans is out of the car?. I'd look into this first, then...

Check the connector pins/ports on the MSD wiring. Loose pins &/or oblong female ports in the MSD connectors have been found to cause issues. Also, ground MSD directly to battery.
