I need some assistance. I am doing an LS swap into my 1987 GMC V1500 4x4.

Instead of buying a custom harness or making one, I am using the entire 2001 silverado donor harness to power the truck. I have the front lights and rear lights done and also even have the key fob locking/unlocking my doors.

Anyways, I cannot find the wiring info I need to get my power windows to work. Mainly the switches, I am using the 87 switches and tying into the donor harness.

I need help getting wiring diagrams for the donor silverado. Anyone have alldata or a way to find them?

I mean I know what color the wires are and where they go, I need to know what they do. Such as which is power, which is ground, which sends signal to ds motor and to ps motor and so on. How can I get this info?

EFIHARNESS

Here is the window print. Both poles of the motor are held @ground. When the up or down switch is grounded
that relay is turned on and it pulls one pole of the motor to +. Steve

Thank you for that! So I will need to find the diagram for the 87 switch now and see how to match them up?

I suck at reading wire diagrams.
