yea...was a super steal.. clean title.. no rust..

driver sie window didnt roll up all the way.. was sitting for 4 month and has Mold on the seats.. no black mold ..lol
I ll replace the Seats anyways.. everything else get a deep cleaning..

idk what i can get for the stock 3.8 with auto tranny.. its running.. Alternator died thats it.

i was thinking about my possible build
while i would like to build a more performance oriented LSx i have to admit that i really need a reliable daily driver that i can drive distances as well if needed..
therefore i wanna stay NA and 300-350 HP would be sufficent..
so i guess the way cheaper 5.3 is what im going for..
unless i find a sweet deal on a 6.0.

my other build is a 68' Buick GS (Pro Touring) that i either small block turbo or Chevy big block Stroker.. so there goes my iron power monster.

Dude, really!!! You stole that thing, that is exactly what I'm looking for. I'm in the same boat, looking to build a reliable daily driver.
With that one, I would almost put an alternator on it and drive it for awhile. How many miles on it?

Thanks.

don't let anybody tell you a 5.3 is like a 302. that might be the dumbest thing I have read since joining this site. 5.3 or a 4.8 is a great motor and thousands of people have gone very fast on them

lol.. Well at least i have my own thoughts if somebody says that.. Im really shooting for a 5.3 because of simplicity and the potential.

Totally agree with this statement, I was alittle iffy about the 4.8, but the more I think about it, it's more then what my daily is. And I will not feel bad if it blows when it's boosted.

Nice score. I started out with an 03 v6 car. Mine will have a 408 in it one day...just picked up a lq4 the other day. Mine has a sbc in it right now , I used an aje k-member in it with their motor mounts. Super easy to do. Pretty sure the worse part of my swap will be deal with headers. Bumper exit race car.

nice any pics??
i will wait for Hookers motor mount conversion so i dont have to do the whole K-memeber thing.
i hope they have them out soon.
IF they for some reason dont work i can go with a AJE as well.

Im a lil busy on my "good" car the 68 ABody so i havent even had the chance to score a Motor/tranny yet.

BTW has anybody ever seen a "NewEdge" with JDM bolt on Fender Flares?
i like the look on Foxbodies .. could be cool on a 02 Mustang i think?

He's got a build thread on the conversions forum. Nice find BTW! I found a 94 for 300 but I recently found out that the damn trunk is rusted out pretty bad.... I'll probably end up cutting it out and putting a fuel cell there.
