I used Patriot Clipsters made for a BBC and modified them to fit the LS1 flanges.

The Hooker LS1 F-body headers will work with minor tweaking.

'79*LS1*El*Camino

I used the F body LS1 ceramic hooker headers. I put them into a 1979 El Camino. The passenger side needed to be hammered on to fit it between the engine and the frame. The drivers side fit well, but the headers exit at an angle toward the drivers side frame rail so you need to do some fancy pipe bending/cutting/welding to get the headers to an angle that is wokable with an x pipe. If you aren't using an x pipe you shouldn't have a problem.

How much modifaction did you do. I tested a set and they didn't seem close. This was a long time ago. I might have gotten a c5 set by mistake.
