some updates/a ? on wheels
well my question about the wheels is, my father is going to change the wheels on his hawk, and giving me his m/t et drags, with a 17" stock firehawk rim, will this rim (factory for 00' hawk) fit on my truck?(01' s10), otherwise, here are the pics!

You're very likely to need spacers. The 4th Gen F-body uses very high positive offset. These fit fine on 4wd S10s, but not on 2wd's.
I think you're going to need about 2" worth of spacers, but that's just a guess.
I've got a set of 4 18" x 9.5" C5 "Wagon" wheels (4 rears) to go on my Bravada. I'm sure they're going to need spacers front and rear, since they've got like a 65mm offset.

I just picked up an 8.5 10 bolt w/disc brakes from a 4x4 blazer fro $350 SCORE!(after looking for 6 months).I'm hoping that with the extra width (about 4inches) my 17x9 ss wheels will bolt right up and then run spacers up front.

Only took you 6 months to find an 8.5" 10-bolt for reasonable money? Thats a good thing. Most guys seem to think they're made from unobtanium.
