What are you putting it in? Personally I recommend Speartech over Painless. Painless makes great wiring harnesses for cars in general, but for EFi/computerized systems Speartech really knows his stuff and has outstanding customer service and support if you run into problems, which you probably won't with his products.
You will need a high pressure fuels system, either and in-tank or in-line pump and fuel lines. Then you need exhaust, engine and trans mounts, cooling, and probably more money and time than you had planned. There is a lot of info in the stickys at the top of the page that will explain most everything you need.

I think the most of the factory fuel system you'll be able to get will be the lines off the rails and the pump. Some people have success using the stock pump, however they also have horrer stories of making it work. Really depends on your tank. then you still have to get the hard lines on your frame to work with the lines you do get.

your trans crossmember only have to be unbolted and moved forward. speed and performance did a truck like yours. if you have any vehicle specific questions, they will definetly help you out. im finishing up my 79 c10 and they were of great help. they`re # is 479-394-5711. there was an article in the july 2005 classic trucks mag where they installed an ls1 in a 77 c10. it gives the whole installation. if you want, i can fax the article.

if your truck had fuel injection before then an a/c delco ep 241 in-tank pump can be used in your stock tank. i went with a custom setup since my setup is blown. i had to have a driveshaft made(250) because i wanted to do away with the stock two piece one.
