Default Removing a fan

I am sad to have to ask this question, but here it goes: How do you get the fan off the front of a 6.0?

With a wrench

I can`t remember for sure but I believe it is a standard thread (left to loosen). The easiest way is to use a strap wrench to hold the water pump pulley, but you can also leave the belt on put a wrench on the nut for the fan and wack the wrench with a piece of wood (2 foot long piece of 2x2 works really well )

I used an air chisel. I put the chisel on the lip of the "nut" and hit the chisel and it broke loose then just twisted it right off.
