Default Is this a good idea?

Alright, I have ideas for a website, not sure what to name it, maybe someone could help me figure out one. It would be for people wanting to do LSx conversions, into just about any car, will start out with info and guidence on swapping an LS1 into an LT1 car, using all the info I put together for my 96 Z28. Then I would also like to get info on other swaps and boards to combine them all together into 1 big site, as well as a gallery of all the cars that have been converted along with modifications. For instance I would provide on the F-Body Swap section, pictures of the parts used for the conversion and all the schematics and wiring diagrams needed along with helpful directions so that other people wont have to go hunting for all of this like I did. Also would like to have a forum and a conversion parts classified section. Let me know what you think and who all would like to contribute information.

Thanks

I agree its a good idea. I have been considering doing something similar myself but I doubt I have the time or website expertise to make it happen. How about ls1swap.com or lsxswap.com.

I think it would be a good idea too. You might be able to even make it somewhat like this site in that reps from the various companies regularly post here to help with any sort of problems people run into during a swap. Doing that might help take care of the cost of running the site as well.

If you decide to do it, you are welcome to use any of our pics and information. Let me know if you wnat any more pics, info, or whatnot. We did an okay job documenting an LS1/T56 into a 67 Camaro...

Also if you made a forum like that, It would be neat to break it up into sections for specific issues for chevelles and RX7s and Camaros etc. Then have sections for general electric and transmission problems etc. As well as general engine performance type areas. Just some ideas.

I thinks this is a great idea. Everytime ya post people are like yeah there was a post here about the motor and the other guy done the trans swap and for the wiring harness you need to check w/ someone else to see how it goes lol. To have this all together in one site would be great

the official name is www.LSx-Conversion.com

some guy snagged all of lsxconversion or conversions.com lsxswaps.com etc so someone would have to pay out the *** to get them from him.
