Default A ball park et for A 5.3 powered sonoma

Alright guys almost done with my 5.3 swap in an 88 sonoma. Here is the list of parts- ls6 cam,shaved heads 0.30,carburated with a 4800 8''ati convertor powerglide with pro brake,4.10 geared with 29'' sportsman pros,3000lbs ladder bars coil overs and only spinning an alternator up front. Just would like some in put from some of u guys thats done 5.3 swaps before some local guys are tellin me 8 0's in the 1/8 th. thanks guys Brandon

Buy an n2o kit and hang on the only diff. between mine and yours is 6.0 vs 5.3 and im 3420# should run a lil better than 8.0s.. let us know.

maybe when he sprays it.....do you know how cold it would have to be for

I'd say 7.9-8.1 if running/tuned properly. That's what my 3400# Jimmy runs with stock heads and my cam is essentially an ls6 on a 114LSA. I'm still running the stock intake and injection also, so you may be a lil faster.

Sorry kids gonna run 7's on motor! 4500 pound silverado ran 8.4 cam only.....it's gonna roll out for a lil 5.3.....not get her running!

Im going to say you know what your dooin and if so the truck should run 7.6x on the motor in fair wheather and that plate will take care of the torque of the 5.3 .. If thel lil mustangs give you any problems just let me know...Ill handel em for you!!! Got a trick or two up my sleve fot this year..

LQ9 6.0 Victor jr with 750 carb , 212 224 cam with matcing springs and retainers 6010 msd ,plate kit with 200-250 jets ,1-7/8 headers and full exh. PTC glide with 9.5 n2o conv., 4600 flash on the gas ,9" with 4.10s 3420# in the waterbox.... Thats about it..

mine has went 7.89, stock longblock, cam only 5.3.
