Default coolant steam tube with carb intake

Just wondering if anyone has used the LS1 spider style coolant steam tube with the GMPP carb'd intake? Or, do you have to use the LS6 style coolant tube for the front and rear?

Thanks,
Jared

The spider type will work,I just test fitted one on the engine stand with the gmpp intake. It is quite close, you might want to do a very small amount of grinding at the closest points just so it wont be touching.I'd say ether one would work.I think some people just use the block off plugs, anyone know if this is ok?Would this cause any problems?
