basically im trying to come out of my 4l80e trans as tight as possible, the old push connect lines had elbows bent but they were hitting the body .nobody seems to make this flare so i had inline tube make the flare for me with some tight elbows . i had to sand them down a bit to get them in and them seem o k . then i see that sonnex makes a case cooler adaptor that would eliminate the push connects and convert it to 5/16" flare .great ,so i buy them . now i cant get a 90 degree bend tight enough to clear the body ,sooo now i search for a street "ell" 5/16 male to female only to realize this cant be possible in a flare type setup.so im going back to the inline tube lines .sorry for boring you and thanks for the reply .JOHN

You could take a piece of 5/16 tube -- both ends flared with the 1/2-20 tube nuts and have someone cut and silver solder the one end to produce your street elbow. I think a shop that fabs air conditioning lines could do it.
