Question LS1 Computer In A Sealed Box?

My computer in my engine compartment seems exposed to the elements...Anyone ever use a box or container for it? Source? Thanks

I have seen covers that just cover the plug area but not a complete box.

I ran my computer in the engine bay for 2 years without any problem. They are sealed up from the factory.

I have my computer up inside my fenderwell, that's where some of the Corvettes have them as well. I was told as long as I position it so the plup is not at the top it will be ok. Positioning that way will allow water to drain away from the plug connector area if it ever gets up there. I do have a deflector in front of it to protect it from things being thrown up by the tire, but it is not weather proof. So far so good, over 7k miles and nearly 3 years. I will admit my car does not see wet weather except by accident.

I ran my PCM inside and placed it on top of the Trans Tunnel near the firewall...
