Hey guys....Putting a LS1 into a RX7. Still in mock up stage, but had to hear it run. The motor starts runs ten seconds or less and dies, have not done any diag yet I figured I would ask to see if it is a common problem that anyone has had. We have the fuel pump hard wired so it runs with the key in the ignition position. Thanks

VATS. have you had the vehicle anti theft system tuned out of the computer?

No, I thought that then I was not sure what effect it would have, I thought it either caused a no crank (it cranks), or it caused the fuel pump to shut off after it started....(thus the hard wired pump). I will search for Vats. thanks for the tip!!!

VATS kills the injectors not the fuel pump.

Thought I would post up, Yup it was the VATS Thanks G-body I did not know that about the injectors....
