Default A/C compressor mounting

I am swaping a 5.3 from a 2006 Tahoe into my 50 chevy pickup. the compressor hits the crossmember in its current location. what are my options to relocate it? possibly use car brackets?

There really are not a lot of options for factory brackets, as they all mount the A/C compressor in the same spot low on the pass side. Your options are to either notch the frame, buy aftermarket brackets and accys $$$ or to build your own brackets.

Try S&P, their low pass side A/C mount uses a Sanden 508 and moves it inboard about 3" from stock. Look at page 82 here to see a front view..
