Miata LS1 swap price??
I have a running LS1 motor and harness that I'm thinking of swapping into the wife's 92 Miata. What kind of money am I looking at for all the swap stuff? I can do all the work myself, just need some parts to get it going.
Thanks

If you decide to take another route I have there stage 2 kit for a 1990-1993 with a 40k mile JDM engine for the same price as all the conversion items. Its tuned and runs really well, but I'm also bit by the 430+rwhp bug vs the 220rwhp bug.... though this engine setup runs toe to toe with a stock LS1 F-body

What timing...2 days after I post this FM breaks down the costs. Not terrible I guess and it is roughly what I was expecting. I just wish the cars were a little bigger inside. The wife's Miata is a little short on leg room...for me

Stay away from RC....... Now 4-5 cases of full payment with no parts after 6+ months
To gain room in the car take the seat apart and pull some of the foam backing out of the bottom and back. An aftermarket steering wheel really helped also. I now have C5 sport seats in mine with a 320mm steering wheel. At 6'0, It is a great fit. Before, I'd swear you had to be a midget to drive these cars

To 80superbU, plan on 12K to 40K + the car & your time. The costs depend on what you want in the end. Musts are K-fram, frame rail bracing, differential frame, minimum 4 point roll bar, & full suspension mods & front brakes. The rest is up to you. We are always here for you when you have build questions. Best regards.
